Onboarding Process 

Every client relationship starts with a free 30-minute consultation. This call helps us understand your business, your current bookkeeping setup, and whether our services are the right fit for your needs. 

Our onboarding may include: 

• Reviewing your current bookkeeping setup

• Gathering and organizing the financial information needed for your bookkeeping

• QuickBooks Online setup or review

• Identifying any catch-up or clean-up work that may be required

• Establishing a monthly bookkeeping plan based on your business needs

Any catch-up, clean-up, historical corrections, or other work required outside of ongoing monthly bookkeeping will be discussed separately. 

Monthly Bookkeeping 

Once onboarding is complete, ongoing bookkeeping is provided through a predictable monthly plan based on your agreed scope of services. .

Monthly bookkeeping may include: 

• Transaction categorization and organization 

• Bank and credit card reconciliations 

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reporting, as applicable 

• Monthly financial reporting, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports 

• HST/GST tracking and reports 

• QuickBooks Online bookkeeping 

• Organized records for your accountant 

Monthly services are focused on keeping your day-to-day bookkeeping accurate, organized, reconciled, and up to date.

Work outside the agreed monthly bookkeeping scope, such as catch-up or clean-up work, historical research, or other additional services, may be billed separately.

Catch-Up & Clean-Up Services 

Behind on your bookkeeping or need your QuickBooks Online records cleaned up before beginning monthly service? 

Catch-up and clean-up services are available separately and may include: 

• Reviewing and organizing past transactions 

• Reconciling outstanding bank and credit card accounts 

• Correcting bookkeeping errors and duplicate transactions 

• Bringing your books up to date before ongoing monthly bookkeeping begins 

Catch-up and clean-up work is quoted separately based on the condition and complexity of your books.
